Always passionate about technology, interdisciplinary, with a penchant for highly automated processes, technological transparency, and open software and standards.

I started early with Linux administration, moved through virtualization and container technologies, and arrived in the cloud. As a PhD bioinformatician, I modeled and analyzed large biological datasets on HPC clusters using statistical and machine learning methods, and I publish open-source software using modern development practices. As Head of Data Engineering in a SaaS startup, I led the development of a data platform with ETL pipelines, learning the advantages of lean and portable architectures, especially for small businesses.

I enjoy looking beyond the obvious, striving not only to apply technologies but to understand them in detail. This enables me to quickly implement solutions for complex problems without reinventing the wheel.
